Report for the last three days in the Atlantic Ocean off Sandy Hook. The fishing in the ocean was very good with limits of sea bass, ling and keeper flounder in the mix. The current month fluke pool leader is Bob Lavelle with a 4.4 pound fluke. Bob won the pool both Saturday and Sunday beating his fish of Saturday by 2.2 pounds.
We ended the season with a Big Bang off Sandy Hook in the Atlantic Ocean with a great striper. Nelson Miguel Galdamez Carisa won the pool with a 45 inch and weighed 45pds. What great way to end the spring season. The striper was safely return to the Atlantic Ocean alive.
We had a good day in the Raritan Bay Friday night with a lot of action on fluke and some nice keeper come over the rail. Michael Gramm of Keyport took the nightly pool and became the new leader of the month pool with 3.3 pd flounder.
Thursday action in the Raritan Bay is getting better with lot of shorts and many keepers today. The customers went home with some fish in their coolers. The fluke that won the pool was caught by Vidal Viera from Freehold, NJ weighing 3.8 pounds.
Saturday striper fishing was on fire on the Raritan Ray with 17 customers. We had a boat limit of Stripers and some bluefish. We also had some big shark on board. We had a great crowd of customers thar work had on the Keyport Princess. Next trip Wednesday and Saturday at 6pm don't miss out.
